1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser to remember something between pages, for example that you are signed in.

2. What we use

• symbiote_session: a strictly necessary cookie, set only after you sign in, to keep you signed in. It expires after at most 30 days or when you sign out. Scripts cannot read it.
• Browser session storage (sessionStorage): remembers the free tool you used and where the visit came from, so we can create your brand from the site you tested when you sign up. It is cleared when you close the browser and holds no identifier.

3. What we don't use

We use no advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics. That is why we don't ask for cookie consent: the session cookie is strictly necessary for the service you asked for (Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive).

4. On brands' websites

If a brand installs Symbiote forms or widgets on its own website, they may save technical preferences in the visitor's browser (for example that a form was closed). That brand informs its visitors about them.

5. How to control them

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you delete the session cookie, you will be signed out.
